Blackpool vs Peterborough – Blackpool to win at 4/5 with bet365

It took a while for Ian Evatt to get going at Blackpool but the Tangerines are buying into his ideas now and they can maintain their strong form by defeating out-of-sorts Peterborough at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool have won four and lost none of their last five home matches, held Cardiff to a 0-0 draw in the Welsh capital last month and will be more desperate for the points as they remain in the League One relegation battle.

Peterborough, meanwhile, look well off it. Posh have struggled on their travels in particular and their winless away run is set to be extended to seven games with a defeat at Blackpool.

Tom McGarry

Shrewsbury vs Oldham – Oldham to win at 21/20 with bet365

Shrewsbury are all but safe from League Two relegation and their form over recent weeks would suggest they are already on the beach, as they have lost five of their last six, the only exception being a narrow win over free-falling Tranmere.

By contrast, Oldham are flying, winning nine and losing only one of their last 13 games to propel themselves into play-off contention, keeping their hopes of securing back-to-back promotions very much alive.

Oldham needed a 95th-minute Joe Garner equaliser to salvage a point in October’s reverse meeting between these sides, Micky Mellon’s team should find the going much smoother this time around.

Aaron Rogan

Aberdeen vs Hibernian – Hibs to win at 11/10 with bet365

Aberdeen are in dire form with no wins across their last nine league games, and they’ve got a terrible record against the Premiership’s top five teams this term.

The Dons have suffered 12 defeats from their 14 clashes with sides placed fifth or higher, including home and away losses to Hibs.

The visitors have pushed themselves into the European mix thanks to thriving against the worst sides in the league. Hibs have picked up eight of their 13 league wins this term in clashes with the bottom four, so back them to prove too strong for Aberdeen once more.

Tom Hill

Liverpool vs Fulham – Fulham double chance at 6/5 with bet365

The pressure is mounting on Liverpool boss Arne Slot after Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, with the Reds failing to register a shot on target in Paris. Liverpool have lost three on the spin in all competitions, and with their title defence over months ago, Slot may have one eye on the second leg against PSG.

Fulham are unbeaten in three away games in all competitions and they are unbeaten in their last three matches against the Reds.

Confidence is low in the Reds camp and the Cottagers have already proven they can get a result out of Slot’s side, having drawn 2-2 at Craven Cottage in January.

Gareth Freeman

Oxford United vs Watford – Oxford win at 27/20 with bet365

Oxford are scrapping to avoid the drop down to League One and the visit of Watford offers a good chance for the U’s to pick up a much-needed three points.

The Hornets seem destined for a mid-table finish as a run of just one win in their last six games means they are nine points adrift of the play-offs with just five games remaining.

Oxford are the team in greater need of the points and they’re unbeaten in four at home, with two wins, and they can battle to a victory against a Watford side who have lost back-to-back road games.

Aaron Ashley

Bradford vs Stevenage – Bradford at 6/5 with bet365

Bradford are flying high in third in League One and they can strengthen their playoff ambitions with a home victory over top-six rivals Stevenage.

Only runaway leaders Lincoln have picked up more points at home this season than Bradford, who have won 15 of their 20 matches at Valley Parade.

The Bantams were 2-1 winners away at Wycombe last time out and should be suited by the physical test that is likely to be served up by Stevenage, who have struggled on their travels of late.

The visitors have suffered defeat in seven of their last nine away league games and that includes on trips to bottom-four pair Exeter and Northampton.
